Apparently this is an Afghan interpreter who was embedded with SOF back in the day, and got brought back to the US during our Afghanistan withdrawal. Notice that he’s carrying two spare pistol mags.

@OnAPaleWarthog Helping soldiers communicate with your people should not be grounds for coming to our country.

@grok, how many Afghan nationals are in the United States and of those, how many are fighting age males?

Estimates suggest about 200,000 Afghan nationals are in the US as of 2025, based on resettlement data post-2021. The number of fighting-age males (18-60) is unclear due to limited demographic details. Global trends indicate 55% of Afghan migrants are male, with 61% aged 18-59, suggesting roughly 67,000-88,000 fighting-age males. These figures are speculative, as US-specific data is lacking. Further research is needed for accuracy.

The guy had a psychotic break. It happens. This was not premeditated, and while i feel for the driver his death was warranted by his actions and open disdain/hostility for VERY PATIENT police

Homeland Security needs to backtrack his activities and determine where the nest is. These rodents always congregate in a nest somewhere.

I always have a soft-spot for the Afghan veteran. Especially the commandos. Man, I miss Afghanistan so much and I was there less than 2 years. These commandos saw combat daily for decades, like Jarhead, the desert (war) will never leave them. Civilians/POGs will never understand

Happened in Fairfax County, Virginia. I saw the full video but I still don't understand why he was so upset about being pulled over. I can't say the cop didn't deserve getting shot. He came up to the suspect on a power trip and immediately grabbed his hand, triggering him to draw. Let this be a lesson for him to never do that again.
