Today is the day. This is the show I've been waiting my whole life to make. 4 years ago, during the quiet of the pandemic, I wrote all 8 episodes of PENELOPE. I knew it was different. Something calmer, more soothing. Challenging all of us and our relationship to technology, nature, and ourselves. And then everybody in Hollywood passed on it. So I paid for the entire first season out of my own pocket. The great @meleslyn partnered with me, directing them all. Then there was Sundance Film Festival and SXSW, and a wave of people who began to understand what this show could be for our culture. And now we are premiering Season 1 of PENELOPE on Netflix. And I can't believe it. I am so grateful and humbled. Please watch with your family and friends. This one is meant to be shared. ✌️
