From the closing ceremony at last week's Assembly of First Nations Annual General Assembly 2026 (July 14-16, in Ottawa). Recap: Hundreds of First Nations chiefs gathered for the AFN’s key summer meeting. National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak opened with strong calls to protect treaty rights. The Chiefs unanimously opposed federal fast-track plans for major projects (Building Canada Act), warning they could weaken environmental protections and sidestep Indigenous consent. “Rights have no deadline.” They passed an emergency resolution on Alberta separatism. No province can alter or extinguish treaty rights. First Nations are literally “defending the Crown”. The King is laughing his ass off. Other business included discussions on Bill C-37 (Clean Water Act), child welfare, housing gaps, mental health, and education funding. The usual crap. The focus remained clear. Uphold the honour of the Crown, implement UNDRIP, and ensure First Nations continue to exercise veto powers on all decisions, and every lever of government in this country.

I met a real "Most Alberta Woman" yesterday in Cremona. Her name is Alana Miller. She and her husband are cattle ranchers. She showed up in her SUV, with a small child in the back seat. She was still wearing her work clothes. She was in a mild panic. "Did I miss it? Are you guys closed?" She desperately wanted to sign the petition. She came prepared with 5 documents to prove her identity and her physical address. Everyone there was taken aback by her smile and enthusiasm. She is the future of Alberta, and we all knew it. I asked her if I coud film her, and I'm so glad she agreed.

Love that sound. This is a V10 being put through it's paces. Classic Formula 1 V10 engines (used primarily between 1989 and 2005) rotated at blistering speeds of 18,000 to over 21,000 RPM. This translates to the crankshaft spinning 300 to 350 times every single second. To sustain these speeds without literally tearing themselves apart, engineers utilized pneumatic valve systems. Instead of traditional metal valve springs, these engines used pressurized air to open and close the valves, ensuring up to 300 rapid movements per second without valve "float" Around 2001, I was involved in a project with Sturman Industries, to try and develop a camless engine for the oil patch. I met Eddie Sturman, a crazy inventor who's brain never stopped thinking about ways to improve engines. We succeeded in making a cylinder head with digital valves that could be adjusted instantly to compensate for any fuel mixture. We had 12 cylinder engines running in 2 cycle, 4 cycle, and 6 cycle. Eddie's wife would come around, and gently pull him away from his work, so he could go take a nap and re-energize his brain.

The mass psychosis that swept the land during the last 5 years wasn't limited to COVID. This scene was recorded in August 2020. A Black Lives Matter protest confronted White diners at a D.C. restaurants, chanting “White silence is violence!” and demanding White diners show their solidarity. If you survived the coercion of the last 5 years, especially by not getting vaccinate, congratulations, you have an actual moral backbone.

You will not lose your Canadian passport in an independent Alberta. That's just pure fear-mongering by the "stay" side because they have no other argument. All they have is fear and nostalgia (for a Canada that basically no longer exists). Canada has fully recognized dual citizenship since 1977. There is no requirement to renounce Canadian citizenship when acquiring another. A Canadian-born person does not lose their citizenship simply because their province leaves Confederation. Canadian law protects citizenship by birth on Canadian soil. Most Albertans have deep family, cultural, and economic connections across Canada. None of those ties will be broken because of independence.

Most people don't appreciate or even comprehend this. This is Glacier View, Alaska, specifically at the Glacier View River Retreat / Arnie's 4th of July event. This small community in Alaska has an annual July 4th tradition of launching old/junk cars (sometimes trucks, boats, or other vehicles) off a 300-foot cliff. It started around 2005 as a fun way to celebrate Independence Day when it's too bright for fireworks due to the midnight sun in summer. It's grown into a huge attraction.

Does nobody even hear what politicians are saying anymore? "We have taken back control of immigration"...from who? Was anyone held accountable for letting it get out-of-control. "We have reigned in government spending. It had been growing at 10%". Again. Was anyone held accountable? Did anyone lose their job. Did you fire any Minister? This is not quite as epic as Jordan Peterson schooling Cathy Newman in 2018, but it's right up there. Jeff Rath delivers a master class on how to deal with an aggressive journalist. He was on fire, absolutely quick on his feet. That's because he's true to his convictions, and isn't juggling lies in his head. The bit about being a Queen on the chess board was brilliant.
