I’ve read the SEC’s lawsuit against LSU & I am not impressed. It’s procedurally problematic, equitably suspect, and legally flimsy on the merits. I still believe LSU is dumb for inviting this distraction unnecessarily, but this complaint is unlikely to stop them.

Week 0! UNC vs TCU Underdogs crush in Ireland. UNC has a shot if they pressure TCU’s new-to-P4 QB with what should be a good D line. UNC also needs to exploit a weaker secondary but should be improved offensively with Patrino at OC now. Metrics favor TCU but UNC ML 🤷♀️

Some weird tension on the timeline between Michigan & Utah, and I learned some Utes may even be adverse to Michigan? I hate this. I’ve loved Utah for years. I’m obviously thrilled about Whittingham & co joining Michigan. I will continue to love Utah & Utah fans.

Pete Golding’s bs response to the tampering questions upset me so deeply that I recorded a video without any makeup on. The DNC tag is far less prejudicial to other programs than what Golding did. But he uses it as a straw man. Maybe to help out his buddy Lane, too.

I should be sleeping but I’m too upset about this Sorsby situation. This is the clearest case for NCAA enforcement & YET all of that can be upended by a locally elected judge without any articulated legal basis. This is an existential crisis & I hope the NCAA treats it as such.

LSU v USC Same story, new QBs, new DCs, great WRs, ?s on D LSU has a better o line, but SC can get more creative with its run game. SC also has an X factor in Branch and a slight advantage in Vegas. SC +4.5 but LSU deserves the W for scheduling these early season games.

I talked too much about Utah so it gets its own video. Clearly a lot of changes at Utah, some planned, some unplanned, but a lot remains the same. They still have great leadership & a lot of talent. Certainly enough to navigate a favorable schedule and be in CFP contention
