Dear Lord, I can’t wait for this new airport to be completed,it’s going to be so beautiful. And the icing on the cake is the new railway being linked to Ikeja Railway Station. People living in Ikeja, Maryland, and other areas along the Red Line corridor will be able to use the train to get to the airport,they won’t even have to drive anymore. I also can’t wait for the new Red Line coaches that Gov. Jide purchased from Dalian, China, to arrive. Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority LAMATA Kolawole Ojelabi The Lagos State Govt Honestly, this is a game-changer. It feels like this administration came prepared, and I’m very happy. If you drive towards the curb in ikeja, they begin to reflect light and change color to red. These are the kinds of things the government is supposed to put on the Island first because that is where everybody will know such things exist. Ikeja people especially don't have time; they just want to go to work or their businesses and go home. They don't have time for the fast life or showing off. 😭 Despite their wealth, they keep quiet. No matter what the government puts on the Mainland, many Mainland people don't have time to show it off. So the government should please focus more on the Island because that is where city noise emanates from. That is where anything you do will be amplified immediately. Just saying.😁

It will never be well with propagandists. I just wish these boys didn’t die. I wish they were only injured; I would have ignored all of this. I’m only speaking up because innocent lives were lost. But it is well,it is the will of God. Without God, nothing can happen. Even if you are involved in a fatal accident, you can come out without a scratch if it is not God’s will for you to go.

If I ever see PBAT, First thing i will do is that I’ll give him a very big hug for saving us from the shame of this airport. For over a decade, Nigerians and foreigners complained endlessly about its condition, yet nothing meaningful was done. At least President Buhari tried to improve things, but many problems still remained. What I appreciate about this administration is that they understand that a travel experience starts from the airport. In fact, if I had my way, I would not only remodel the airport, but also upgrade the roads leading to it, the surrounding environment, adjoining roads to ikeja City, and even the routes connecting to the Island. These things make powerful statements. The way people perceive an airport and its environment affects how they see the country, the people, and even the government itself.
