A five-year-old boy who wandered off near Tambaram East railway station was safely reunited with his family within 40 minutes, thanks to the swift action of MTC Chennai staff. The child unknowingly boarded MTC Bus Route No. 31G at the Tambaram East Railway Station bus stop. The driver, Thiru Veeramani, noticed him alone and informed the Chromepet-2 Branch Manager. Meanwhile, MTC staff on duty near Tambaram railway station began searching and found a distressed grandmother looking for her grandson. After gathering information from the family, MTC staff coordinated with the driver and instructed him to stop the bus at Tambaram Camp Road.
