Upon inspection, the newborn was immediately taken to Shatabdi Hospital for medical treatment with the assistance of Nirbhaya squad. After treatment , the baby was discharged and taken into custody by the Bangur Nagar Police Station. Subsequently, with the help of Nirbhaya squad the newborn was safely handed over to St. Catherine’s Home, Andheri (West).
