1999 Nitro/Thunder Macho Man was fun to watch. IMO, it’s the closest he got to that 1984 unhinged Memphis era Savage. I liked that he brought his piledriver back after 15 years.

Finally reached the Blue Angel/Barry Horowitz match in LA in August 88. Always felt Barry was one of Owen’s best in-ring rivals. Some spectacular stuff here.

Met a few people in &amp; out of wrestling that also made “spot tapes” back in the day. Found this clutter of crazy stuff on a VHS from early 2001.

Sid’s WCW return was great in 93, but I was most excited for the preceding incident that led to it. I’d known both Fuller &amp; Bruno had ties w/Sid in Memphis - so I was pumped Sid was coming back to WCW before he even showed up. Also, he’d be facing the “next Sid” in his return.

Eddy. Rey. Parka. Blitz. A perfect tv match.

More great stuff from Hacksaw Duggan &amp; Andre from July 88. Much like their LA Sports Arena match - MSG is on fire for the action. That tv angle where Duggan KO’d Andre w/ the 2x4 was very effective in drawing crowds for these matches &amp; also the audience support for Hacksaw.
