🇷🇺 An interesting post by Russian journalist Georgy Bovt about Yandex: “Then it suddenly emerged that tens of billions of rubles had been spent on internet filtering and blocking online dissent, but somehow no one had bothered to protect data centers against potential attacks by enemy drones. Not to mention the extreme centralization that has made this infrastructure particularly vulnerable during wartime. Restoration will require chips that are banned under sanctions. And other components, too. And time. A lot of time. And this is only the preliminary phase, during the first week of such attacks. Three data centers have been partially damaged. According to publicly available information, Yandex has a total of six data centers in five cities. Building one from scratch costs approximately 6–7 billion rubles. Repairs are, of course, cheaper, but that raises the question of access to spare parts subject to sanctions.”

🇷🇺 With visible disappointment, Trump declares that Russia would’ve won the war in one day if only all 180,000 Russian soldiers hadn’t taken a wrong turn onto a dirt road instead of a highway. The level of idiocy in this statement is off the charts. 😂 But apparently, in an attempt to outdo himself, Trump went on to declare that President Zelenskyy is responsible for high oil prices around the world. 🤪

🇷🇺 The WWII cult in Russia just took a funny turn! 🔽 Russian schoolchildren have to put together presentations about their relatives who fought in WWII. Some kids decided to pull a prank: they pretended that Belarusian blogger Mellstroy was their war-veteran relative and that porn actress Sweetie Fox was his wife. They made up an entire story about these supposed relatives having gone through the war. According to their story, Andrey Burmalda (Mellstroy) was a Red Army officer who commanded an operation near Stalingrad, while his wife, Darya Burmalda (Sweetie Fox), worked in military hospitals and inspired the soldiers. Their teacher totally bought the story, while their classmates couldn’t help themselves and burst out laughing.😆

A lot of sources failed to mention what they were actually about: the events of October 1993. 🔽 There was Russian Constitutional Crisis in 1993 that resulted in a violent power struggle between Boris Yeltsin and Russia’s parliament culminated in tanks shelling the White House — the parliament building — in Moscow on October 4.
