Coach Drinkwitz says he was disappointed in the turn that this rivalry game took: "I was embarrassed for them, to be honest, and that's why I tried to embarrass them at the end." When asked about if he hopes this rivalry continues, he said he doesn't care if it continues or not, if 'they're gonna be weird about it.'

"He's given Missouri fans the opportunity to dream of going places they've never been before."

"I'm always for student-athletes, no matter nontraditional or traditional." This comes after Charles Bediako (a former Alabama player, who signed a two-way contract with the Spurs) sued the NCAA for denying his request for eligibility. This one's long, but it's worth a listen, as Coach Gates dives into the importance of having an open mind & if its an avenue that he'd ever explore ⬇️

"I can't speak to other people's programs...We got to change the calendar. I think the calendar is driving this whole decision making and issues. You know, we're not able to finish the competitive playing season before players, coaches, administrations have to make hard decisions."
