Every time I post our boys in etiquette class, folks say: “Why y’all teaching them to eat like white people?” Neatness ain’t “white.” If you call it that, you’re saying being loud, dirty, & sloppy is “Black.” We’re teaching excellence, discipline, & self-respect.

Today, on January 17, around 11AM, I was pulled over by a white policeman in a small country town. I can’t believe what happened to me. I wanted to share this with you all so that others can be aware of what happens when black men are pulled over by white police officers.

Our program gets attacked because I don’t teach my boys to hate white people or live in fear of the police. Instead, I teach them auto repair, how to grow food, wear suits, use tools, and carry themselves like men. Skills > excuses. Discipline > victimhood. 👊🏾🇺🇸

The boys had a bad experience at a hotel. Knowing how to respectfully solve problems is a life skill every young man should have. Most people know there’s a problem—they just don’t know how to communicate it. Confidence is knowing how to speak up with respect.

Out of respect, I paused our fundraiser yesterday. But many of you encouraged me to continue. They told me this work must go on — because it’s exactly what Charlie Kirk would have wanted. Very somber day, but we cannot allow them to win. So we keep building! 🇺🇸

This run was filmed back in 2021. One of these boys is now a Marine. Another is a Sailor. Others graduated, got jobs, and are building good lives. That’s what The X for Boys is about — turning doubt into discipline, victims into victors. This is what makes America great. 👊🏾🇺🇸
