Here’s a solid example of the lightning quick scan and response time that FSD is capable of. Going near 60 mph on this dark highway I could barely notice this pile of debris until I was right on top of it, but FSD saw it just in time and took appropriate evasive action avoiding what would have been a nasty hit at the very least. Requesting to please prioritize improvements in this scenario Tesla AI Yun-Ta Tsai. This is a safety issue. At this intersection it happens every time. FSD waits until the absolute last second to merge away from the ending lane leaving almost zero room to safely merge when there was visibly more room to start merging sooner. See side repeater view.

Tested FSD 14.2.1 Speed Profiles from MadMax to Sloth, on 65 MPH freeway. Here are the results: - MadMax when to 79 (14 miles over) and stayed in passing lane - Hurry dropped down to 75 (10 miles over) - Standard dropped it further down to 69/70 (4/5miles over) - Chill dropped to 67 (2 miles over) - Sloth dropped to 63 (2 miles under) Verdict: I prefer Standard on freeways and MadMax in city. So I tried ASS for the first time today on my HW3 with FSD 12.5.4, with none other than . Turned out to be quite an adventure. Here's my uncut post. ASS had to deal with overcast conditions with light spurts of rain, lots of pedestrians, geese🦢, and more geese 🦢🦢. Recommend watching the whole thing. We covered a LOT!! Verdict: ASS is a profound glimpse into the future IMO. Vision of robot/human harmony and coexistence at it's best if you ask me. This was sooo much fun Chuck.
