This week, our family is back in Oslo, and tomorrow my daughter Yolanda—his only grandchild—will speak at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum. I am so proud of her for continuing this powerful family legacy. People are searching for connection and community, not division. Seeing thousands gather to support the monks marching for peace from Texas to D.C. reminded me that there is far more good than evil. My parents called us to our higher angels as a nation and a world. Even on bleak days, coming together gives me hope.

I am so proud of my daughter, Yolanda. Watching her speak with clarity, courage, and purpose on ABC News about voting rights and the responsibility of her generation reminds me that the Dream lives on through young people who refuse to stay silent. She understands that challenging injustice is not new, it is necessary.
