Without being able to express himself on social media or say anything, P Diddy's current situation speaks volumes about life. Whether he's right or wrong, all we see is change. Remember '2pac interview in 1996'? To all Nigerian celebrities in music and movies, feeling invincible because of your status, remember that even someone like P. Diddy can find himself on the run or hiding due to circumstances known only to him. Think about it. #mixofusng

Before diving into Asake’s contract, let me remind you of some names you might have forgotten that left YBNL: “Picazzo, Lyta, Davolee, and Chinko Ekun”. It wasn’t just about contracts not going well; many left without gaining much from their time at YBNL. Lil Kesh was fortunate to have a successful collaboration with YBNL after his departure, leading to the creation of his own label, “YAGI Records”. Davolee also released a song in 2019 after leaving YBNL, where he shared a story that many fans struggled to understand. A lot of these artists don’t speak about the pain or struggles they faced after signing with YBNL and not receiving what they expected. Remember, it’s business, and emotions should not cloud their craft. So watching everyone…#mixofusng

Talking about Asake contract without fully understanding his reasons for deleting anything that associates him with YBNL today shows the lack of accountability in the Nigerian music industry. Asake didn’t burn any bridges; he simply elevated his craft and made business moves away from his old record label without making any public statements. Situations like this are part of the reason why we lost the likes of Mohbad💔, Madrina FMK Cynthia Morgan went through the same issue. About 80% of people in the Nigerian music business are hypocrites, artists, OAPs, managers, A&R teams, everyone is afraid to speak the truth because they’re worried about their next meal. No one needs…#mixofusng

I won’t focus solely on the podcast session, but I want to use it to question what has happened to humanity. This issue spans across all sectors music, film, skit-making, content creation, and more. Why is it that Nigerians seem to exploit their partners, employees, or artists? This is a recurring problem; for example, years ago, Kizz Daniel’s former record label paid him only 30,000 naira per month. Can we change this habit of exploitation in Nigeria? #mixofusng

No one needs to be blamed; it's business, something Nigeria struggles with when it comes to professionalism. Nigerians often favor "padi-padi" business, a practice that has shaped how the world sees the industry, leading many upcoming artists to get carried away and sign deals due to the country's hardships. Would you blame Asake for signing and not renewing, or for buying himself out of the deal? Your response will reveal your understanding of business ethics. Also, did Olamide do anything wrong? If your answer is yes, it shows a lack of business foresight. Neither of these two has come out to complain, which indicates they value their connection and business. From my perspective and the information I have, every record label in Nigeria needs to improve on their agreements and terms.🤍✍️🚀#mixofusng

Some people believe Asherkine takes advantage of others by filming his acts of kindness, likely due to the history of fake NGOs enriching themselves instead of properly using funds. However, watching Asherkine's interviews reveals the genuine passion behind his niche and the unique concept that sets him apart. While many influencers focus on creating coin memes to sell to the masses, Asherkine is busy blessing random people on the streets of Nigeria. He does it effortlessly, in the same country where many would rather exploit the masses.#mixofusng

If you’re a leader in Nigeria, watching Asherkine give back should be a slap-you-awake moment in 2025. Sure, no one really knows his source of wealth, and it’s not anyone’s job to figure it out, but seeing fans beg him to visit their areas to bless people should inspire not just his endorsers but government leaders too. The outdated belief that you need to be old to do great things should be trashed by every Gen Z Nigerian. If this young man can turn an idea into 2 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, 2025 should be your cue: wake up, give back, and help make Nigeria better. ✌🏻✍️🚀#mixofusng

It’s wild how Nigerians rarely take a moment to understand the real pressure Skales faced. Picture this: while Banky W was booking local gigs and Wizkid was selling out international stages, Skales was stuck in the middle, fighting silent battles, carrying the weight of expectations with no real team behind him. A young man, raised solely by his mother, thrown into the Lagos hustle with nothing but luck and dreams. Leaving E.M.E wasn’t a win, it was survival. Yet, no one truly values the cost he paid to even stay afloat.#mixofusng

Like May D once said, “I’d have been greater than Wizkid if I hadn’t fallen out with P-Square.” But let’s be real, fame without financial backup often ends in silence or stains. The same May D who once sang and rolled with Wizkid is now barely securing endorsement deals, let alone a major promo campaign. Forget the bad deals and industry politics for a moment, May D is genuinely talented. In fact, many don’t know “Do As I Do” by P-Square was originally meant to be his debut single. The game is deeper than talent alone.✌️✍️🚀#mixofusng

Skales was undeniably skilled at rapping, with his verse in “Emergency” as proof. But when he shifted to dancehall, his label struggled to believe in his potential. It’s hard to say exactly when or why the change happened, but it created a significant hurdle in his growth. During this time, he recorded “Shake Body” to showcase his dancehall abilities, unaware that this bold move would come at a deep cost. Many Nigerian artists have faced the same challenge, stuck without a breakthrough moment. But Skales turned his struggle into a statement, showing the world that betting on yourself can lead to massive success.#mixofusng

To all Nigerian music icons or A-list artists taking advantage of young upcoming artists in the industry, watch this clip of 2pac talking about P.Diddy many years ago. Listen to what he was saying then and tell me it's not happening now. Years back, P. Diddy spoke about the importance of black people creating their own culture, but look where we are today, he can't even come online like before. 2pac may be gone, but he foresaw the future. Any celebrity belittling other artists just for personal gain while neglecting others, it's time to change your ways before it's too late. Who would have imagined P. Diddy's current situation in 2024? #mixofusng

Don’t be distracted by the arrest of Big Ayo by Toyin Abraham. The question we should be asking ourselves is when we will understand that there is more to life than coming online to create content that makes us look bad or to mock someone's family, business, and future. Instead, we should channel that energy towards holding the government accountable. Many celebrities have put their careers on the line and have been affected by their actions. We should support these individuals to encourage them to continue their efforts. For those who are not as active, let's leave them be. We may not fully understand their impact off social media. Look at Kenya as an example. Meanwhile, we are here exchanging tweets and videos for impressions, while ordinary Nigerians continue to live in depression. #mixofusng

When the last born blows, it means the first born understood the assignment. That’s rare in the Nigerian music industry. But with Famous Pluto, you can feel the home training. Just one interview shows you why Wizkid co-signed him. One verse and you get why Victor Osimhen told the world to stream his music. These boys are the new face, new sound, straight outta a place we’ve overlooked for too long. Edo is rising, and they deserve their flowers. Shout-out to Madrina, Rema, and the rest who paved the lane. Respect the roots, respect the wave….#mixofusng

For Shallipopi to let his brother shine, and still pull 20+ million streams on his single “Laho: -Spotify”, says everything. I remember seeing him last December, quiet, lost in thought. Now it all makes sense. Edo boys move with a plan. Respect their blueprint. But young kings, here’s a word: fame is sweet, money brings power, and power attracts women. What most artists don’t realize is, some women can see your future, and they won’t tell you what to do… they’ll just give you a plan that centers them. That’s the silent trap that broke some of our biggest duos. Stay sharp. You were born for greatness. Nigeria sees you. Keep winning, even though some still struggle to understand why they’re not loved at home.✌️✍️🚀#mixofusng

There was a lot of rumor and speculation about Eldee’s future after he left the Nigerian music scene to pursue new opportunities. Today, many of the OGs who once doubted his decision may now regret their words or admit they didn’t see his vision early enough. Here’s something unique about Eldee: not only did he make a huge impact in 1998 by co-founding the hip-hop group Trybesmen, which produced hits like "Trybal Marks" and "Shake Bodi," but he also studied Architecture, one of the most time-consuming courses in the world. Despite this demanding path, he still managed to produce quality music. So, if anyone tells you not to explore other paths, remember Eldee’s story and think twice. I never finish. #mixofusng

When 2Face dropped “Only Me,” many Nigerians decoded parts of the verses as a jab at Mikel, especially with the mismanagement at NFF back then. People picked sides, but watching Mikel’s recent interviews about their behind-the-scenes fallout sheds new light. It’s hard to believe 2Face moved that way, but it also explains the track’s inspiration. The name change from 2Face to 2Baba made sense, but did the character really change?✌🏻✍️🚀#mixofusng
