The incident in question happened just barely off camera but how it started(a failed PIT or suspect intentionally hitting a trooper) can be seen. MDOT appeared to be unwilling to show the crash scene when they got word about it 25 minutes later. They refused to show it.

This might be the most accidentally well placed camera I've ever seen. It was in the perfect position to capture this horrific accident in Mississippi. Again, don't stop on the interstate. While it is the responsibility of drivers to notice a hazard, you are making the mistake of trusting other drivers - that trust gets people killed.

For some reason, a driver suddenly stopped on I-66 in Fairfax County Government 🇺🇸. A few minutes later, a distracted driver plowed into driver's who slowed, and possibly hit at least one pedestrian. The Fairfax County Fire/Rescue responded to the accident. No further details available. DO NOT STOP ON THE INTERSTATE UNLESS YOU ARE ACTIVELY ON FIRE! I don't mean your car, I mean you yourself. Other than that, pull over to the shoulder.

I believe the driver of a car suffered a medical emergency and died(though maybe it was a homicide?) and they slowly drifted into the back of another vehicle. Either way, it is a fatality.

This crash is a shocking reminder not to drive with your eyes on anything other than the road in front of you. Also, there was another serious accident moments after an air ambulance landed at the scene. You can see both crashes in the video. MS Highway Patrol
