VIDEO | As DK Shivakumar takes oath as Karnataka CM, his daughter Aishwarya says, "Yes, we're very grateful. Grateful for the people of Karnataka... I've not been running social media campaign for my father. I've just been a proud daughter. I think I've learned a lot from him. My father always says that when leadership comes, it's a lot of responsibility. I think the responsibility has increased 10x or 100x today because it's the responsibility of the people of Karnataka. So I really pray to the Almighty that the Almighty gives my dad the strength, the wisdom and the purity with which we can serve the people right. It's not about power, it's about what you make for that power, and I'm sure he'll make the best with that power and people will be happy. Two years from now re-electing him. To see Congress come back to power, it's the vision of the Congress to elect a youth leader like him today and I hope they've given us the responsibility and we will fulfil it with utmost sincerity." When asked about her bonding with her father, she says, "Every daughter has a great bonding with her father and I have the same. But, yeah, as I'm the biggest critic to my father but also the greatest supporter. So I think that's what's my job as a daughter." #DKShivakumar #KarnatakaCM

VIDEO | Delhi: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi's remark over alleged in discrepancies in CBSE exams, says, "Yesterday CBSE gave its response regarding this matter. It is in accordance with the procurement policy of the Government of India. I want to assure everyone that if any irregularities are found, no one will be spared. But as far as Rahul Gandhi is concerned, he seems to have reached a different state of mind. Due to continuous electoral defeats, he appears frustrated. He opposed SIR, he used to oppose EVMs, and he opposed Digital India. He does not seem to stand with India’s scientific progress. As far as this issue is concerned, I myself take responsibility on behalf of the government for any inconvenience, and I request everyone that this is not the time for politics. I have said this earlier as well. Politics can be done later. Right now, the most important thing is that the mental stress of these students and examinees should not increase further. We appeal to everyone that no one’s words or behavior should add to their stress." (Full video available on PTI Videos -

VIDEO | Trivandrum: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor (Shashi Tharoor) says, "I honestly think that this is an unnecessary imposition by the central government of having to listen to all five verses every time. Vande Mataram is our national song; we all respect it. Now they want all five verses at the beginning as well as the end of every event. CM has taken the view that this is optional and Kerala has chosen to exercise the option not to have the full thing." (Full video available on PTI Videos -

VIDEO | Telangana: Venkata Ramana has been confined to a bed ever since his birth. Such a condition would break the resolve of most people. But despite living with a rare genetic bone disorder, the 27-year-old from Telangana's Adilabad is far from giving up on his dreams. His severe mobility restrictions meant that Ramana could not attend regular school, but with support from family members he pursued his education from home. Venkata Ramana, Digital Marketing Professional, says, "From childhood, my grandmother supported me a lot. She passed away last year. She taught me through charts and alphabets, etc. and during my childhood, I received the kind of basic education that children in primary classes like P1 and P2 learn today. I also learned many things with the support of a local trainer who used to come every evening and teach me for around one and a half hours. Then, in 2018, I passed my Class 10 examination through open schooling. After 2019, I wanted to continue my further studies, but unfortunately, I faced some health issues. Since I already had Osteogenesis Imperfecta, some neurological complications also started." (Full video available on PTI Videos -

VIDEO | Actor Madhuri Dixit defends Aishwarya Rai Bachchan against trolling over her Cannes appearance. Madhuri Dixit says, "Especially Aishwarya, when she went to Cannes, she has a legacy. She has been going there for 20 years. She has made the whole country proud. She is a global star. You cannot reduce her to a number on a scale or a number on the dress or the size or a number on the calendar years. You cannot reduce her to that. She is beautiful. She looks beautiful but she is beautiful inside. I have worked with her. I think people have to realise that. When you do these kind of comments, what kind of message are you sending to the youngsters today? Your worth is on how you look, not on your achievements. I think this is a completely wrong message being sent." (Full video available on PTI Videos -

VIDEO | Addressing protesters in Kolkata, TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee said, "They have killed around 25 to 30 of our party workers. Between 5,000 and 8,000 of our supporters have been driven out of their homes. In addition, nearly 3,000 houses have been demolished. These figures are from about ten days ago. And what is happening now? Wherever our programs or activities are scheduled to take place, the police are stationed outside. Their role appears to be to prevent people from participating. They stand in front of people's homes, and if family members or women step out to attend the programme, they are detained or arrested." (Full video available on PTI Videos -
