This new band Visitor Coach is amazing. I don't care that they are a Nirvana clone, I like them.

Kurt Cobain intentionally ruined Nirvana’s Buenos Aires stadium show to punish 50,000 fans for harassing the all female opener, Calamity Jane. Here is a version of "Come as you are" from that show.

If given the chance Smashing Pumpkins would have dominated MTV Unplugged. "Cherub Rock" an acoustic version.

Foo Fighters get a lot of flack but this song is a banger. Historic note, Kurt Cobain listened to the demo on a walkman in a bathtub. After he listened Cobain said, "Oh, finally, now I don't have to be the only songwriter in the band"

Say what you will about Silverchair but this song is unreal. One of the best to come out of the 90s.

My favorite song of the 90s. I am a huge Nirvana fan, but this Smashing Pumpkins tune beats them all. Perfect song composition/structure with building intro and guitar solo that goes to outer space Also Chamberlin’s drumming is top notch “Cherub Rock”

33 years ago today Nirvana recorded the best cover in the history of time. “Where Did You Sleep Last Night” The song is an American folk song with the most well known version performed by Led Belly.

Nirvana playing "Terrotorial Pissings" on the Jonathan Ross show in 1991. They were supposed to play "Lithium" and just decided to Nirvana it. One of my favorite Cobain lyrics is in this song "Never met a wise man. If so it's a woman."

Nirvana's best performance of their best song Aneurysm. Also note Dave Grohl beats the living shit out of those poor drums.

Nirvana's Nevermind came out 35 years ago from today [9/24/91]. To celebrate here is the first ever live performance of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" performed at the OK Hotel in Seattle. These Gen Xers were witnessing history and I wonder if some realized it.

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins is in the same league as Nirvana's Nevermind. Every song on the album is gold. There was a period in my life where I listened to the song "Hummer" 5 times a day.
