Today is #VultureAwarenessDay. Do you know vulture population is reduced by 99% during last few decades. This is what success in #conservation looks like. Years of work in short. From raising these critically endangered white backed #vultures, to release them in wild with satellite tags, monitoring their movement for years, locating their nests, to finally documenting their wild offsprings. All to save them for extinction. I had a privilege to work as a director of one such vulture conservation programme, apart from my other responsibilities in a tiger reserve. Video shot during that time.
