Seven years ago my good friend and colleague Sir David Amess revealed at the Royal Albert Hall a dream: that the Music Man Project play their own show on Broadway. Here is the video I took of his speech. Two years later he was murdered. He left an incredible legacy, including that dream. The Music Man Project is a multi-award-winning, world record-breaking music education charity for people with learning disabilities. After a mountain of hard work, guts, determination, fundraising and optimism against all the odds, we are dong exactly that, on 7th October at The Town Hall in New York. All this has been achieved without public funding. Just the love and generously of the British public and some fantastic businesses, including the TEAM LEWIS Foundation. We are all set, except for one thing- we need an audience. We want these remarkable musicians to play to a packed house and want to give seats to disabled organisations and schools across NYC. Will you help us #FillTheHallForAll so this fantastic UK charity has a full house? We aim to raise £10,000 to fund 500 tickets for guests from schools, organisations and community groups across New York. They’ve borrowed from Lineker’s playbook. Labour are a party of goalhangers and left-wing strikers. That doesn’t work in politics. The country needs centre forwards, people who are prepared to put the hard work in and create opportunities. And it needs a team captain with a plan.

Outraged at the scenes in the oval office? We should strengthen Zelensky's hand, to use Trump's metaphor. The UK and EU must do more to strengthen Europe's defence. Vocal support is not enough. The aid-budget-fudge is not enough. Carry on as we are, is not enough. Wake up Britain. Wake up Europe. Times Radio

Terrible judgment by the Prime Minister tonight. By whipping “House Business” he confirms at least one of two things, and most likely both: that a large number of his MPs are not buying his narrative and/or that he has misled the House. If he has acted in good faith Privileges would clear him. An unnecessary distraction? Not as much as what is now bound to follow. Utter contempt of Parliament including his own MPs.
