I contributed to the Impact of the attitudinal failure of the public to effectively use the pedestrian footbridge as a road safety measure in our major cities. I used the unique occasion to call on the minister for roads and highways to look at the Kojokrom bridge in my constituency to create a footpath to help prevent major accidents from happening on the major road. #WomanAtWork #TheNewEssikadoKetan

To mark Worker’s Day, myself including two Assembly Member’s our unit committee member’s and branch executives devoted the day to visiting farming villages in the most inaccessible parts of our valued Essikado-Ketan Constituency. We brought some fertilizers to show appreciation and recognition for their hardwork and invaluable contributions. We visited cocoa, rubber, coconut and citrus growing farmers. We also took the opportunity to inspect our NGO/STMA funded new school building project which will include a 6 unit primary and 3 unit JHS classroom blocks including a 4 room teachers quarters. In Ghana, people with disabilities face numerous challenges, including Stigma and discrimination, Limited access to education and employment, Inaccessible public spaces, Limited healthcare services, Limited representation and participation, and Poverty and economic. Yesterday, I emphasized on the floor of parliament the need to expedite the passage of the Mahama Healthcare Bill, also known as Ghana Medical Trust Fund bill given the alarming mortality rates due to non-communicable diseases. The bill aiming to relieve the financial burden of individuals suffering from chronic diseases I believe it's crucial to addressing this pressing health concern urgently. Toured European Town with the Assemblyman for Cocoa Training Zone, Rails Mu Uncle Appagya, zonal coordinator, and branch executives to inspect and support affected victims. We presented cash donations and relief items, including rice and bedsheets, to burn victims to provide immediate assistance while we work towards a permanent solution. As the Member of Parliament, I will continue to mobilize resources to address this issue and ensure the well-being of the people in European town. #WomanAtWork #TheNewEssikadoKetan
