It is now at 97% of its capacity, after receiving 3 billion of m³ in recent weeks, thanks to the unusually heavy rainy season in Syria and Turkey. As a precautionary measure, water releases are being carried out & will reach ~800 m³ per second, which will raise the level of the Euphrates to heights unseen in decades.
