A special exam session was organized in the N. countryside, just on the other side of the front, with transportation provided by Damascus. He was held for over one month and was tortured while his captors asked $200,000 for his release. Abdul Baqi explained the operation was made possible through contacts with local groups in Hijri-held Suwayda. The man was subsequently brought back to Government-controlled areas.
