Back day is one of our favorites. So many exercises and variations you can do. Not mention a nice looking back, a well functioning and strong back are all bonuses. You want a thick back, do rows, heavy rows. Want a wide back, do pull-downs/ups 💯 #fitness #workout #couplegoals

Working that back! Probably one of our favorite parts to train, simply because there’s so many different #exercises you can do. Here we have 4 variations of rowing motions. Adjusting your grip and hand placement can really change how and where the #muscle is worked ☑️ #fitness

The machine version of a dumbbell row. Feels odd compared to a dumbbell. Kori is doing a 2 version pull-down. Starting with a strict upright form, pulling down to the sides. Halfway through the set, we lean back slightly, and pull BACK not down, all while keeping the elbows high

Been going hard in the gym lately, and the results are showin 💪🏽 Jared’s been taking it easy due to a torn rotator. It sucks, he’s been just going super lightweight, slow and controlled movements. Injuries don’t mean stop completely, just gotta work around them is all! #noexcuses

Working on my boxing and muay thai. Not trying to be a fighter or go pro, but besides being another aspect of fitness, why not learn something that could help you better protect yourself? It’s one of the hardest sports I’ve tried. Definitely painful. But definitely also fun! 😁

Heaviest I’ve gone on this machine since I’ve been in my 40’s, and I’ll be 45 next month. Last time I did this I was 39 and 80+ lbs bigger. Definitely not a PR, but still feels good too know I can go somewhat heavy when I dig deep down and put my mind to it. #squats #Motivation

Throwback to our heavy lifting days! 🏋🏻♀️ Fun fact for those who don’t know. Kori is only 5ft tall (152cm) and around 133lbs (60kgs). So a fairly tiny human, and a woman at that. So pushing this kinda of weight was impressive 😏 #weightlifting #squats #workout #TBThursday #gym

194 lbs! And officially the smallest I’ve been in about 12 years. Down from 281lbs in 2019, to the low 200’s I’ve felt small. It was difficult to accept. Being smaller, not nearly as strong. But I’ve traded that for better mobility, speed and flexibility; and now I’m loving it.

Arm day for the fam. Just biceps and triceps back to back 💪🏽 Every so often we’ll do stuff a bit differently than each other. Case in point…Jared chose to do most of his lifts single handed. Kori chose the two handed technique. Neither is better, simply different. #fitcouple
