My brother has a non-traditional golf swing, but he just makes it work. Today he hit multiple 270+ yard drives. Had 3-4 solid birdie putts but made zero of them. I beat him pretty good, yet suffered from some serious hooks and duck hooks. Couldn’t break 80 today:(

Why it’s a good idea to play golf with me- or hang out with me. I have been present or have hung out with people who have had 9 hole in one’s. Today I spent the day at Mt Lake. My host gets a hole-in-one on the very last day the course is open. The course goes under restoration tomorrow!!! Last week it was an albatross on the MacKenzie Course at 21 Golf Club. Even saw one at Augusta National. I am a lucky charm!

The renovation of Belleair CC’s East Course involves moving some seriously mature trees. The process and planning for moving these trees is very thorough. The result- a completely renovated golf course with a seasoned feel to it. Unlike the restoration of our West course, the East is only restoring about a third of Ross’ design. Why not restore it all? It was an impossible task- back in the 1980s our current clubhouse was built over the original driving range. At that time we built a new driving range and lost two par threes and the opening holes of the East. Around that same time the club needed a irrigation pond for the 36 holes, which ate up a good portion of Ross’ East Course design on the other side of the road. The result of that redesign was a course which had 6 subpar golf holes. This renovation will create a better golf course designed to challenge all skill levels. I am very excited to have a better East Course!

My son’s swing on a 350 yard drive. He has gotten to a point just about 2 months into his comeback to the game that his bad drives are past my good drives. My only saving grace is my short game. On the first hole I hit my drive 303. He semi-mishit his to 304. He has an insane strong grip but his lag is a thing of wonder. Need to get him equipment and some lessons.

I hope this doesn’t come off as cruel because I absolutely love Scotland. During my stay here, I have eaten four hamburgers. One of them, I could only eat a bite of, the second two bites, the third and fourth I ate a bit more than half. I am taste testing a McDonald’s Hamburger in Edinburgh for you. For the record I am not fond of American Fast Food Hamburgers and of them McDonald’s is one of my least favorite. #NonGolfHistory

Drove home from Augusta and got roped into announcing the my daughter’s lacrosse playoff game this evening. The cool thing- I got to announce her 100th save of the season!!!! I will ask my spotter to get a better video:) We get done with this game at 9PM and I will jump in the car and start driving back to Augusta!!! #NonGolfHistory

We are one week away from the conclusion of the Walker Cup. It hasn’t even started and yet it makes me sad to think about it being over. I am so sad that I was unable to attend this magnificent event. I would take the Walker Cup over the Ryder Cup every single time. It’s my favorite golf course in this entire world. Play well USA! USGA #CypressPoint

I already shared the spectacular video a golfer experiences while walking from the 15th hole to the 16th hole. Here is the first of the two stunning walks at Cypress Point. This is the walk from the 14th green to the 15th tee box. It’s equally as stunning. To be honest, the 15th hole is the best Par 3 at Cypress Point. USGA Golf Course Architecture
