Love on the Range is another favorite from the Horlicks ads, I am still impressed by how fiuld the stop motion is for its time in 1939 as it remains still very much up there

One of my favorite logos of all time but i have been always curious if these two were animated by the same person

@/hosokawa_shin has told me the animator it was Masaaki Mori whom sadly passed away this very year, Only known about him cause of Minna no Uta and found out he was the animator behind this Pikmin 2 CM/Trailer using the Yamaguchi models its cool that he did alot of Nintendo stuff

The reboot is my favorite but i loved these type of sequences from 60s Ataro, It felt more true to Akatsuka's iconic close-ups shots rough edged lines and all

Another thing i like about Puppetoons is that there is barely a real contrast with the mere movement with the shorts done in traditional 2d vs. the shorts done with stop mo puppets, These guys truly achieved what they wanted from that cel to puppet transition
