The law was scrapped without any proper research into the after-effects, and no parliament or committee was consulted. Judiciary makes this just to show they are the rulers. Now the results are coming out. Tenant verification issue is just the tip of the iceberg. It is now creating mass murders of husbands as well. Suicides? Divorce cases… huge demands in divorces, property disputes… and don’t forget child welfare issues also rising. I will say the entire responsibility is of the judiciary… who shamelessly allowed it. Now it is getting into the nerves.

Yet the department is penalised for taking action. If this is how courts respond when a regulator cracks down on unsafe food, who will protect consumers? Are courts making it easier for food adulteration cases to survive while officials doing their duty are punished? Is this justice—or protection for the culprits?
