Since winning the primaries, I have gone round Yola North, Yola South and Girei, meeting the people face to face, listening to their hopes and sharing my vision. One thing is clear: the love is real, the acceptance is overwhelming, and the movement is growing stronger every day. Politics is local, and true representation starts with the people. Our campaign will be driven by the energy of our youths, the strength of our women, and the collective desire for a better Y2G. This is more than a campaign. This is a movement. Sometimes, the smallest moments create the biggest impact. I stopped by Haladu’s place to eat Indomie, shared the moment, and today Indomie decided to bless him with cartons of noodles. That alone makes me happy. This is exactly what I’ve always believed in, we rise by lifting others. A simple post, a simple gesture, can change someone’s day, someone’s business, or even someone’s life. May we never stop supporting one another, especially the hardworking people trying to make an honest living. That is the kind of impact that truly matters.

Today, a football tournament was hosted in my honour, and it was more than just a game, it was an opportunity to connect with the people. The youths of Yola North, Yola South, and Girei came out in large numbers to witness the finals, celebrate together, and engage with us. Moments like this remind me why the grassroots matter so much. The people have identified with us, and we have identified with them. Their love, support, and belief in this movement continue to motivate us every day. The bond is real, the connection is genuine, and together we will continue to build a brighter future for Y2G. Haske ya zo.

Took my friend Manga on a tour of the Sarkinmota Group HQ today and one thing I’ll always appreciate is genuine support from genuine friends. It’s always beautiful seeing people who truly celebrate your growth. And as always, the entire building was styled, designed and furnished by Interiors by Sarkinmota… one of the companies we’ll officially be launching under the Sarkinmota Group. The vision is big, the standards are higher, and this is only the beginning. You too can have something like this. When I say CV, I’m not just talking about academic qualifications. Wallahi, I value skills, hard work, dedication and willingness to grow more than anything. People like Elma are proof that being organized, committed and genuinely passionate about what you do can take you very far. I need people that are ready to work, ready to sacrifice, ready to believe in the vision and help bring it to life. Degrees are good, yes. But character, consistency and competence? Those matter to me even more.

In the coming days, I’ll begin rolling out employment opportunities under the Sarkinmota Group. We will be employing qualified, competent and certified individuals ready to work and grow with us. But let me make something very clear, this is also my own little way of giving back to the people who truly stood by me and supported me from day one. So yes, supporters will have an advantage. However, support alone is not enough. You must be capable. You must be ready. You must be certified. And trust me, the interview questions may not only be about your CV or qualifications. I might ask you something as simple as: “What was the last video I posted?” Because loyalty matters to me. Support matters to me. Real people who genuinely believe in the vision matter to me. This is bigger than employment. This is building a family, a movement, and a future together. Start dusting your CVs. Sarkinmota Group is just getting started.

Today I stopped by the Sarkinmota Group HQ to inspect the progress of work, and I’m proud to say we are now at 98% completion. Alhamdulillah, the vision is gradually becoming reality. In Sha Allah, very soon we will officially launch. What started as a dream is turning into something truly historic for our youths, our people, and the future of the Sarkinmota brand.
