The new parental inclusion and consent policies are dangerous and a threat to the safety and well-being of students. The Federation is calling on the government to reverse this policy decision and engage in meaningful consultation with its sector partners and expert teachers.

Earlier today, Samantha Becotte and Clint Johnston hand-delivered 3,300+ letters to Scott Moe and Jeremy Cockrill. The letters were from Sask teachers and parents, describing critical issues such as class size and complexity, and what the government must do to address them.

Having class size and complexity in an agreement ensures accountability from government for adequate funding (no more cuts!). Divisions have assurance and can implement funding as they need, and families and students have assurances about their learning environments.
