Having class size and complexity in an agreement ensures accountability from government for adequate funding (no more cuts!). Divisions have assurance and can implement funding as they need, and families and students have assurances about their learning environments.

If the optimal model were applied to today’s classrooms, how many would he affected? In which schools/divisions? How many additional classrooms and staff would be required? Would be great to have concrete figures to advocate with to our local politicians.

It's not hard to understand, @jeremycockrill and @PremierScottMoe. Stop spreading misinformation and share the truth. The STF even made you a handy video! SK kids deserve better and it is YOUR JOB to fund education and make sure our students get what they deserve. Stop lying.

I as a student agrees that our teachers need more salary and smaller size of the classes, but Pls stop canceling our students' extracurricular activities please

It's time to reject moderninity.

I want to know exactly what you guys are asking for. It’s our tax dollars, this cloak and dagger shit has to stop. We deserve to know exactly what will bring the strike to and end and then we the people should vote on whether or not we feel it’s reasonable.

Class room size is caused by uncontrollable immigration, class complexity is the result. The STF has to take there demands to the federal government as the feds created this problem. Class room size and complexity can not be part of the STF collective agreement

Then work more hours if u want more money because the outcomes with tax dollars spent is a epic failure you teach racism hate child abuse and things not based in objective truth or reality abolish every teachers unions immediately

That’s up to the school divisions to negotiate wth the province. The elected personnel, not the employees.

Didn’t the govt say they would give 53 million? Ah but if it’s in the CA and things don’t go one way the matter can always be referred to one of Saskatchewan’s union friendly arbitrators? Is this a way to get more jobs in that way? Just asking for a friend
