Just took my first ever Unsupervised Tesla Model Y Robotaxi ride in Austin. To sit in the back seat of a car that I own, while nobody is in the front seats and it’s driving itself, is a pretty wild feeling. Cybercab tomorrow is gonna take it to the next level.

Genesis (owned by Hyundai) has just officially unveiled its new all-electric three-row flagship SUV for the U.S., the GV90, and it has some wild features. • Range: Up to 310 miles • 123 kWh battery • Peak charging speed: 350kW • Radiant floor heating • World’s first independently opening/closing hidden B-pillar coach-door system. • Front and rear doors can open toward each other simultaneously, creating a large pillarless opening. • New dual-motion rear-door hinge first moves the door outward and then rotates it open. • World’s first Roof Airbag, designed to deploy across the entire glass roof during severe rollovers to reduce occupant ejection and roof-contact injuries. • Battery slider structure redirects components such as the motor and subframe underneath the battery during a frontal collision. • Multi-Chamber Air Suspension with adjustable air-spring stiffness and adaptive ride height. • Active Rear Wheel Steering turns the rear wheels by up to 5 degrees • 208 inches long • Genesis says the pillarless structure achieves crash-safety performance equivalent to vehicles with conventional B-pillars. • When parked, the front seats can rotate 180 degrees at the press of a button, creating a face-to-face lounge configuration. • Wireless Battery Management System reduces wiring and improves battery packaging efficiency. • New Power Control System eliminates the traditional start/stop button - first Hyundai Motor Group vehicle with the system. • Pop-up 23.6" OLED Cinematic Display. German TV reporter testing Tesla FSD (Supervised) V14 in the country as public transport in rural areas: "I was genuinely impressed. In the situations where we experienced the system, it worked perfectly and safely. I hadn't expected that. Even in the bad weather conditions in the Eifel region. In many cases, it reacted at least as well as a human driver, if not better. If Tesla is ever allowed to roll out this system nationwide in Germany, I think it will have a major impact on mobility. And that will only be the beginning of some very significant changes in transportation..."

Tesla has just open-sourced one of the key pieces of evidence used to support the Netherlands approval of FSD (Supervised) to try and push for EU-wide approval, saying that its safety benefit remains "locked behind bureaucracy." Some highlights: • Tesla conducted 230,000+ structured scenario tests across 6 European cities, achieving a 99%+ overall pass rate with zero safety-critical events. • In Europe, Tesla accumulated 793,000+ FSD engineering miles across 8 countries with zero major or minor collisions attributed to FSD performance. • Tesla reports zero major or minor collisions attributed to FSD performance across the European engineering-fleet validation cited in its safety case. • Only 2.5% of FSD lane changes had a Driver Monitoring System warning during the preceding seven seconds. • Only 0.6% of FSD lane changes had an escalation/driver-response request in the preceding seven seconds. • In Tesla's European engineering fleet, FSD showed 77–97% lower AEB activation rates, depending on road class. • Tesla analyzed nearly 2 billion FSD miles in North America in 2025, including 700+ million non-highway miles. • FSD had 40–69% fewer major collisions than manually driven Teslas with active safety features, depending on road type. • FSD had 48–59% fewer minor collisions than manually driven Teslas with active safety features. • Compared with older Teslas without active safety features, FSD had 71–90% fewer major collisions. • FSD had 74–84% fewer Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) events, suggesting substantially fewer imminent-collision situations. • FSD had 83–95% fewer harsh acceleration/braking events and 55–75% fewer high lateral-acceleration events than manual driving. • During lane changes, FSD had 99% fewer minor collisions on highways and 95% fewer on non-highway roads than manual driving with active safety features. • FSD drivers experienced 67% fewer highway fatigue events than manual drivers. • European testing achieved 98.9% pass rates at roundabouts, 99.2% at intersections, 99.7% at crosswalks, and 99.9% when yielding to cyclists. Tesla added that this exact dashboard was shared with all EU Member States in April 2026, shortly after RDW’s approval, and all data presented is from before that date. Tesla: "European countries recorded 19,400 road deaths in 2025. That's around 53 deaths/day, with the vast majority of these crashes attributed to human error. These deaths are largely preventable with technology we have today. FSD Supervised is already saving lives where it’s approved – yet in much of Europe, that safety benefit remains locked behind bureaucracy."

Elon Musk in new G20 interview on the AI power crisis: "There actually is a crisis of power. If you just follow the AI topic on the 𝕏 platform, you'll get a very good sense of where things are headed. That's how I get my news; There will be a significant power shortfall next year. The consensus estimate is there will be a 15GW power shortfall in 2027 for AI chips. This is why Google and Anthropic are leasing compute from SpaceX, because we've been able to turn on AI better than anyone else so far. This is by constructing our own power plants is how we've been able to do it." Recently, SpaceX powered down 11 turbines at their Southaven datacenter facility as they make way for their new 1.2 GW power plant coming online in the near future (under the Clean Air Act permit).

Mona, a member of the Federation of the Blind, gave amazing testimony yesterday about Tesla’s Cybercab after sitting in it this week: "To have something like the Cybercab would be very beneficial to us as the blind community; It’s got Braille in there. Nobody else has Braille. This would be so beneficial. The app is wonderful. There’s space to put the wheelchair. They can just push themselves right in. A lot of times, the Uber and Lyft if they see you with a dog or cane, they drive right past you. With Cybercab, it doesn't know that you're blind. It doesn't know that you're in a wheelchair. It just knows that you need a ride, so I completely love the car. Just sitting in it, how comfortable it is, just knowing something is accessible - it’s the most amazing thing out there." Positive Tesla Diner review from Forbes' Brooke Crothers: "On Saturday, the Tesla Diner was busy if not packed at times. And obviously not failing, though some blogs and reports want you desperately to believe otherwise. Contrary to all these eatery blogs and car blogs that say the Tesla Diner is a flop, a failure, a disaster, that is not true, as so many things that are often written about Tesla. There are car blogs that devote all their time to taking down Tesla. I went to the Diner on Friday April 3 and Saturday April 4. I estimate that on both days 90+ percent of the chargers (of the 80 Superchargers) were being used. By that metric alone, the Diner is a success. Yes, I’ve been inside the Diner when it’s slow. But as a Supercharger location with the option to grab a snack it’s a success. It seems that the ulterior motive of some “reviews” is to bash Elon Musk and tell you what a bad, bad man he is. That doesn’t give the reader an honest evaluation of the Tesla Diner as a great charging destination, which, again, is its primary purpose for the vast majority of visitors. It's extremely clean. If you want to come to a pristine place to eat, the Tesla Diner is it."
