Warning: This Video Will Make You Angry On October 31, 2022, in Lake City, Florida, legally blind Navy veteran James Hodges, then 61, was walking home after jury duty was canceled. He was stopped by a female deputy (Jayme Gohde) who mistook his folded mobility cane for a handgun in his back pocket. After Hodges requested the bodycam footage and filed a complaint, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office investigated. Sheriff Mark Hunter publicly apologized, calling the deputies’ conduct “unacceptable”. Deputy Gohde received a two-day suspension without pay; Her supervisor Sgt. Harrison (seen in video) was demoted, received a seven-day suspension without pay, and was barred from favorable actions (raises/promotions) for two years. The footage appears to show that he never raised his voice, never became violent, and was not told what crime he had committed. Then a Midland Police Department officer arrived. 🕵️‍♂️I was at the infamous 1989 Hank Williams Jr. concert in Baton Rouge — and it was one for the books. May 6, 1989, at the Centroplex. About 6,500 of us packed in expecting a rowdy night with Bocephus. Instead, Hank stumbled on stage, slurring his words, cursed out the crowd when some people booed, ("if you don't like this sh*t you can kiss my ass!"), barely made it through a few songs, chucked his fiddle down destroying it, and bailed after only about 20 minutes. Fans were furious — beer bottles flying, Hank Jr. T-shirts getting burned, everyone demanding their money back. He later claimed someone slipped him a mickey in a hotel lounge. His private plane got seized at the airport until his people coughed up the money to refund tickets, pay the arena, and cover everything. He and his band left Baton Rouge that night on his bus and a few hours later stopped to get something to eat and were accused of creating a disturbance inside the Fernwood Truck Stop near McComb, Mississippi. He then grabbed Jimenez by the ankles, dragged him, and rolled him into the water—tossing his flip-flops in after him. Jimenez drowned.
