Funny how every time I revisit this project, I end up wasting time just sliding around because it’s genuinely fun. Reminds me a lot of the CS movement maps I used to play. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

Long time no post. I've been focusing a lot on the environment recently, to the point where some older assets no longer match the more "realistic" direction I'm going for. So yeah, some reworking is definitely needed. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

Added "freeze frames" well, more like slow-mo and now the game feels like you're playing a CoD edit from 2012. Even the game was impressed with that play and gave me infinite momentum. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

I'm kinda tried of the VoxelGI Node. Spent around two days color grading to make Godot look decent. WIP! #GodotEngine #Godot #gamedev

Long time no see! I've been building a Godot brush editor that replaces the Trenchbroom workflow for entirely in-engine level design. It has the core features ready and might hit the Godot Asset Library depending on my free time. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

I used to play a lot of Kreedz in CS. There was this map, kz_rise, that I just couldn't figure out. You had to ricochet off a wall to make the jump. A friend convinced me I had to knife the wall first. It was pure placebo, but I still do it to this day. I like this mechanic a lot

This is probably the closest I've come to Source Engine movement. You have to hit your bhops and sync your air strafes to make long jumps. No weird auto bhop. No unnatural floatiness. It's just too bad I suck at it, haha. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

We are surfing!! Might be a bit too floaty, but we're gettin' there. Honestly, if you squint a little, it kinda looks like cs:s with the imported map. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

I've spent around 3 weeks building SourceImport. It converts Source Engine maps into Godot while keeping TrenchBroom in the workflow. There's still plenty to optimize, but I'm finally ready to show it. Hope this makes some of you nostalgic. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev

Music intensity scales with player speed. It's just temp music for now, but damn, even that makes a difference. #GodotEngine #Godot #Gamedev
