I have successfully completed the construction of a modern Model Primary Health Care Centre in Dagauda, Dambam Local Government Area of Bauchi State. This state-of-the-art facility is part of my broader commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery at the grassroots, particularly in our rural communities. Over the weekend, I had the honour of participating in the high-level event held at Oxford University to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). It was a privilege to join my leader and former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo—who delivered the keynote address in advancing critical discussions on the pressing challenges facing West Africa and Nigeria. The deliberations were rich, thought-provoking and deeply engaging. It was a rewarding experience that underscored the urgency of collective action and the enduring importance of visionary leadership in shaping the future of our region.
