Massive clouds of construction dust and debris are being unleashed on the neighbourhood of Union Park, Bandra. The redevelopment work appears to have commenced without adequate safety and pollution-control measures, with repeated violations of basic construction norms putting residents at serious risk. Children in a nearby building had a terrifyingly close escape when large chunks of concrete and clouds of dust came crashing down.
