He delivered a major sermon and then raised the hand of Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS) and said: "Whoever l am his Mawla, Ali is his Mawla." (Man kuntu Mawlahu fa-hadha Aliyyun Mawlah) Quran 5:3- "Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen Islam as your way!"
