Had my first package stolen from my porch in six years. Unfortunately, it was the Retroid Pocket Nova for which I was very excited. What an absolute low-life loser.

Wait this is actually super clever. They launch a PiP video with instructions while they kick you out to the right app. This is something Nikita Bier would charge like $20,000 for.

I can’t. I’m crying lol This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen lmaooooo

I’m sorry, iOS 26, but this is barbaric and unacceptable.

See if you can spot the American driver.

try this in your slow gas car, buddy

This remains by favorite post-Jobs Apple keynote moment. The rumbling from the crowd and Ternus’ reaction is hilarious every time. 10/10 comedy for a 1/10 price.

The only downside to making your physical buttons powered by software lmao

Orientation-aware Action Button is everything.

One of the coolest things about Samsung’s Frame Pro TV that further enhances the effect that it’s a painting is that when you get the remote and turn the TV on, sometimes it just doesn’t and keeps displaying art. Pretty cool effect!

are you serious

lol what a great game

Best Rivian R2 news comes from Edmunds—the in-car wireless charger is MagSafe, baby!!!!

I am very happy to report that Apple has fixed settings search in the new iOS 18.2 beta!

Will someone please send this to Nikita Bier and tell him to fix his stupid app? I would myself, but he’s soft and blocked me.

Ignore the ugly UI for now, but one thing I am pretty proud of: Pro features are shown in an info sheet, and once you hit Hide, it disappears forever. No constant reminders, no clutter, and no stuff hanging around that you can’t use unless you pay.

On the wrist today is my favorite Rolex killer: the Grand Seiko Snowflake (SBGA211). The dial is absolutely sublime and Zaratsu polished titanium makes it impossibly light. The Spring Drive movement uses magnetic braking to create the smoothest “sweep” of any watch.

Apple’s attention to detail is INSANE. You can’t watch this and not smile.

Rivian’s Halloween update is so well done. It doesn’t just work when “parked,” but it changes the entire UI for the whole month (if you fancy). Fun!

Open source software is so cool. This is my Rivian R1S being autonomously driven by the Comma 3X—a dashboard mounted device that hijacks the signal to my car’s autonomy computer and inserts its own (much more capable) inputs. The software is free. And getting better daily.

Words cannot describe how much I hate the Samsung Frame Pro TV. It is the biggest pile of garbage I have purchased in years and I will literally stop buying Samsung products because I have zero confidence in their ability to do literally anything correctly.

Whoever is running the new Apple account on TikTok needs a raise. These are all fabulous.

This single-step Apple Shortcut is a GAME CHANGER. No more going to Settings -> Apps -> and then finding the app. Just swipe from Control Center, run the shortcut, and you’re automatically redirected!

I hate TikTok but sometimes the Mrs finds a great one for me.

I loved my Eight Sleep, but the pricing was insane, the subscription was predatory, and I had TWO units leak water all over (Pod 3/4). I ditched it, but always kinda missed it. So I bought this: an archaic/ugly alternative but uses air, is 1/4 the price, & has NO subscription.

I HAVE AN UPDATE! Rivian’s manual LIED! It is both faster (and slower!) than Rivian stated. Not as dire as I was led to believe (by again, the owner’s manual), but still not great in 2026! And not an excuse for no 12V in-cabin.

So I bought a garbage can on kickstarter

This clip of the Robotaxi from makes me wonder what uh... what the point of the safety driver is?

This is an Apple II in a laptop. Except it isn’t an Apple II. But also, it is. No emulation!

“What makes you think you live in a big city?” Well, my local Walmart has a shopping cart escalator…

Anker sent me their new power bank with a retractable cable and also covert cable carrying handle. This isn’t sponsored or anything. It’s just kinda neat. But also, creepy cause the faces are terrifying.

Wow, object removal is perfect in iOS 18!

There’s a $2.99 app in the App Store right now “My Classic - Retro Console” that’s hiding its true feature: an iPod Classic emulator that utilizes your Apple Music library. It works amazingly well and if you want it, get it before Apple pulls it (they will).

Apple’s new $9 Polishing Cloth may be worse than it seems…

Elon Musk It took a little longer than that. Regardless, great work.

Just found my first and only QC issue with my Rivian R2 but it ain’t a great one lol
