When Democrats passed LD 1971, every law enforcement group told them breaking cooperation between local law enforcement and ICE would make communities less safe. You're compelling ICE to go into the community to do their jobs rather than work with local jails and PDs. Without LD 1971, Guerrero is still alive, and you can tell by the look on the governor's face and the mayor's face that they know it. Good on the reporter who asked the follow-up question.
