21 years ago tonight, the Red Sox pulled off the greatest comeback in MLB history. I've watched this clip a million times &amp; will likely watch it a million more. In fact, at my funeral, just play this on loop with a note that says "he got to see it." Folks will know I died happy.

October 13, 2013. Ten years ago. Another insane comeback in an era that seemed to be defined by insane Red Sox comebacks. Once again, David Ortiz threw us all on his shoulders and somehow made the unbelievable seem oddly believable. Clutch defined.

18 years ago tonight: In a classic example of FAFO, the Indians, up 3 games to 1 in the 2007 ALCS, tried to get in Josh Beckett's head by having an ex-GF sing the National Anthem. He responded by pantsing them on national TV, striking out 11 and giving up one run through 8.

20 years ago today, before game 4 of the 2004 ALCS, Kevin Millar made one of the boldest, most memorable proclamations in Red Sox history. It was the rallying cry we needed when we literally had nothing left to lose. And we will never forget it.

20 years ago tonight. October 20, 2004. Four days of little or no sleep, pulverizing anxiety and consuming nothing but beer and Devil Dogs culminates in the greatest comeback in baseball history. That was a good time.

Twelve years ago tonight, on October 30, 2013, the Red Sox won the World Series at Fenway Park. And it was beautiful.

When the Red Sox play the Nationals in July, we are required by law to show this clip of Rick Porcello belting a bases-clearing double of Max Scherzer on July 2, 2018. As Jerry Remy casually notes, "to the surprise of everyone in the ballpark, three runs come across."

On October 8, 2018, Our Man Brock Holt hit for the cycle as the Red Sox pounded the Yankees 16-1 in game three of the ALDS. I swear I ran through two walls watching this game. Maybe three. Them was the days.

Not gonna lie. I wish I'd been crushed in with the masses on Lansdowne for the 1999 Home Run Derby.

Happy Slapiversary! One of the weirdest moments of the 2004 ALCS came in Game 6 on October 19, when A-Rod knocked the ball out of Bronson Arroyo’s glove and tried to pull the ol’ “What? You can’t do that?” God love the umps… and those NY fans.

Twenty years ago tonight, on October 27, 2004, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. It was something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime, and it’s almost inconceivable that I saw three more after this. May we never not get chills.
