I am bringing a serious matter of electoral malpractice and illegal interference to the immediate notice of the Election Commission of India. It has come to our knowledge that a person named Mojarul; who is a Personnel of the Kolkata Police, hailing from Nandigram, is unauthorizedly handling Voter Lists and actively summoning Police Personnel to the SDO Office in Haldia to cast their votes. He is reportedly instructing them to bring their Departmental I-Cards and Voter IDs for this purpose. This is a violation and illegal Interference. A Serving Police Personnel has no authority to manage voter lists or "coordinate" the voting process of other personnel in this manner. This is a clear attempt to interfere with the Postal Ballot process, potentially compromising the neutrality and secrecy of the vote for Uniformed Personnel. So far 21 people have been pulled out of the collapsed structure, out of which 18 are injured and 3 people have lost their lives.
