I addressed the Basic Education in Nigeria Bootcamp (BEN-B) Summit 2024, held in Lagos. The summit’s objective was to assess our progress and identify obstacles in delivering quality basic education. We discussed critical topics such as data repository, teacher training, skill development, and other emerging issues. I stressed the importance of stakeholder involvement and timely implementation of recommendations to achieve noticeable improvements in the education sector. This administration is committed to reducing the number of out of school children and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to return to school. I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, private sector partners, international organizations, and all participants for their support.
