I haven't watched #Eastenders for a long time, but seeing this clip and understanding the significance and history behind it, this scene is flawless. For Kalfie shippers old and new this is what makes soap story telling hit on a different level. Alfie will always be Kat's man in the moon, the one who protected her 🌙

Ryan calling it a kink and trying to get through to Dylan, Lauren calling it sexual assault and pushing Betsy to press charges. #Corrie These are both very divided opinions and probably reflective of the GA, very clever interpretations but the message stays the same.... There is no safe way to carry out consensual strangulation, the damage stays done consensual or not.

The way they carried out that manoeuvre on Betsy from bed to the chair has bugged me! #Corrie I work on a rehab ward and have worked with stroke patients and that really isn't reflective of physio and that specific manual handling is outdated and not recommended at all. If Betsy can't support herself she should be a hoist transfer or stand aid until she can weight bear! Also put the cushion under her arm to support 🙄 Whatever they did wasn't safe! Picky but annoying and details make the story!

When they put Betsy in the chair, you could see how It dawned on Lisa - how much her daughter has a long road ahead of her. A heartbreaking reality, reflected in her eyes. The whole situation is cruel. #Corrie

#Corrie if you're planning on giving Lisa a paracetamol addiction you can dial that back and think of something else - Carla's had quite enough of addictions in her relationships and she doesn't need that again! Don't want this for Lisa or their relationship! There are better stories we don't need to turn this into a Peter Barlow situation! I think it's a red herring personally!

How did that #Corrie episode today turn into Lisa hate? I'm so confused by what she's done this time. The reactions in both scenes are that of any other loving mother, It hurts them more than us when we fly the nest, I think more so if it's an only child. Lisa is a copper, she sees all the bad in the world, which will always be at the forefront of her mind. Shes well aware of what can happen in a big city like London. Her worries are valid, it doesn't make her any less happy for Betsy and her achievement but there was always going to be reservations. For Lisa she is a mother first and foremost who loves her kid more than life itself.

Picture this.... So Lisa and Carla are finally standing together at the alter, and in the front row, Ryan and Betsy are sitting with Connie and Roy.. Carla looks back for a moment, stood there she takes it all in, every single part of her life, every chapter, every single heartbreak, every step she walked that brought her to Lisa. The love that came out of nowhere, the family they've built, the challenges they faced, the fact that they both very nearly didn't make it. Just before she turns back to Lisa it hits her! This is everything she ever wanted, this is her forever! 🥺🥺🥺

Tina O’Brien giving a pap the wanker sign. So real of her. Clock him!! Just coz she’s on Corrie doesn't mean she’s public property. It’s pathetic that people think being in the entertainment industry gives everyone the right to invade every aspect of a celebrity’s life. At the end of the day it’s a fucking job. Being famous doesn’t mean you don't have a right to privacy, and it doesn’t mean the public is entitled to know every single detail of your life. Celebrities are still humans. They deserve boundaries. They deserve privacy. they’re allowed to be pissed off when those boundaries are crossed.

Oh Ryan, the man that you are! ❤️ #Corrie I’d rather watch 100 Ryans, who apparently some people find boring, than have to watch a litter of toxic men, which I’ve had to deal with in my own life since the day I was born. Give me more nice guys!

Ellie and Vito's American Smooth, is still one of my favourite ballroom dances! The musicality he has is 10/10! #Strictly Vito choreographs so intricately, he is unbelievably gifted! Every single beat, and every accent is matched with a movement, it's never wasted. Every kick, flick, or extension flows perfectly - he doesn't just choreograph to the music, he choreographs inside the music! Every sound inspires a movement.

After 37 years of watching #Corrie, certain moments never leave you… Decades of drama, but Sarah-Lou’s pregnancy story remains one of its boldest moves. I remember being a year younger than her when it aired, it felt shocking, real, and way ahead of its time. A true turning point that still resonates to this day. It redefined what the show could do and remains one of the most shocking stories of that era!

Audiences can sometimes be dismissive about acting in soaps, but Samantha Womack silenced that criticism in this scene when Ronnie lost Danielle. #Eastenders Regardless of the genre, Samantha is a versatile actress whose talent has always gone way beyond the 'soap star' label.
