How did that #Corrie episode today turn into Lisa hate? I'm so confused by what she's done this time. The reactions in both scenes are that of any other loving mother, It hurts them more than us when we fly the nest, I think more so if it's an only child. Lisa is a copper, she sees all the bad in the world, which will always be at the forefront of her mind. Shes well aware of what can happen in a big city like London. Her worries are valid, it doesn't make her any less happy for Betsy and her achievement but there was always going to be reservations. For Lisa she is a mother first and foremost who loves her kid more than life itself.

One of the most important scenes in tonight’s #Corrie. Dylan’s conversation with his dad showed how easily teens can see things online without understanding the risks. How it's highlighted that not everyone does it. He couldn’t grasp how something he and Betsy both agreed to, which wasn’t intended as an act of brutality, could still cause devastating harm. By making it clear Betsy consented, they still made a point that consent doesn’t automatically mean something is safe. This storyline is changing conversations about how young people view sex, one scene at a time.

#Corrie actually breaking barriers and doing taboo subjects never covered before! It was Handled with care! I'm so glad soaps do not shy away from these stories! It gives people a space to have conversations and to educate those who are doing this! Vicky Myers and Sydney were absolutely fantastic in the scene!

This is what is relatable and remains to this day the shows DNA. Abi's current story of little Alfie getting sick because of mould is an ongoing everyday issue and I'm glad they're putting this in the spotlight. This affects children's health up and down the country, it's about time this was touched upon.
