Advice to future parents, this - He nailed it. My oldest just turned three, and every day there’s some new line that either stops you in your tracks or has you doubled over laughing. It really is a peak experience, and it’s one you can’t afford to miss. It also makes you understand grandparents on a deeper level. They’re not just happy to be around the kids, they’re getting pulled back into that same feeling they had when they were raising you, but with all the pressure turned down and the joy turned up.

Just finished grappling earlier, and figured I’d share something I think a lot of people here would appreciate. There aren’t many things left, outside the military or a real sports team, where you make friends that fast. BJJ and grappling camps are one of them. Instant brothers and sisters. Why? Because your ego gets stripped quick. You get humbled, you suffer together, and suddenly you’re part of a tribe of people who’ve all been through the same grind. Idk man, I am trying to convert as many people as possible, it will change your lifein more ways than one. Bonus, all online sh*t talk becomes more comical than it previously was to begin with.

Break from the market but my wife and my heart are exploding. This is what it’s all about. Context: As I said, every night both my wife and I read her a book, then say a prayer before bed. I have missed maybe less than 5 nights in the last 2 years. Listen closely, following the exact routine. Book, door, stand in the middle, and then “Thank you Jesus, Family, Amen” 😭😭😭😭😭

Most of my trading career, friends have asked me what stocks they should buy. My answer has always been: I’m not a portfolio manager, I just buy the index. However, I do have a perspective on stock selection that I think is worth sharing, and it might be valuable for others too.
