I genuinely don’t know what to say about this. I’m completely lost for words. Just watch it for yourself. This should never, ever happen. I feel desperately sorry for the kid. He’s already been through so much, for such a long time, and now this. It’s absolutely unforgivable!

I’ve been reprimanded twice this year by the Infection Control Gestapo for having a coffee in the anaesthetic room. On one occasion I was forced to redo my mandatory training module. Meanwhile, ‘bare below the elbows’ donkeys are just fine. Infection control logic at its best!👇🏼

“Then we inject lots and lots of local anaesthetic, but if the pain gets really bad, we have gas and air.” The fact we’re still performing hysteroscopies under local in 2026 is, in my opinion, utterly barbaric. I’m a strong advocate for offering women a GA for these procedures!

9 hours to see a doctor, 30 hours on a corridor. Acutely confused, dysphagia, elevated WCC. Triaged by a nurse and initially offered oral paracetamol 🤷 Later required MRI, but not available at the weekend. Patient died aged 66! Hey Wes Streeting, much better under your watch!!

So here’s ANP Karen. Along with her ACP, SCP and PA mates, it’s hubris all the way! Advanced Nurse Practitioners are a valuable part of the healthcare team, but cosplaying as doctors isn’t one of their roles. Stay in your lane! The term “Fellow medics” did make me chuckle!

Whatever happened to clinical judgement? Surely experienced clinicians don’t need yet another risk assessment form to identify the obvious before it happens. This is just another tick-box exercise to satisfy the upstairs pen pushers and lanyard classes. Instead of common sense!

Meet Dr Hassan. He expects to be unemployed in August and is considering returning to the warehouse job he once had at Argos. Other options include Amazon or Uber Eats! Wes Streeting get your shit together and fix this! Eight years of training. What a disgrace for the NHS!

Can’t get a GP appointment. Granny stuck on a trolley in A&E for 12 hours waiting to be seen. Doctors replaced by non-medically qualified Physician Assistants. Meanwhile, doctors without training jobs are delivering pizzas to make ends meet. What a crazy world!

Now we have a situation where Doctors’ Assistants, unqualified to diagnose, are paid more than actual Doctors. Even with full pay restoration, Doctors would still earn less than these assistants, exposing a ludicrous disparity in the healthcare system’s wage structure!

Before rushing out to buy vitamin D supplements, please be aware that this pharmacist is offering poor advice. He is not medically qualified to do so. There are several other ways to increase vitamin D levels, and blindly taking supplements can actually be harmful !!

I saw the incredibly talented Suman Biswas perform alongside the legend that is Adam Kay twice back in the day as Amateur Transplants. Together, they raised tremendous amounts of money for charity while being outrageously funny and brilliantly clever at the same time.
