What have we truly gained by attacking Pakistan? Did we manage to get the terrorists of Pahalgam? Most likely not. Instead, we lost our pride three Rafales, the S-400 system, our brigade headquarters and posts were blown up, and even our air bases were destroyed. All this for what? Wait... what? Pakistan actually said NO to Donald Trump on Abraham Accords? They clearly stated: First create a fully independent Palestine with Al-Quds as capital and 1967 borders. Only then we'll see their ( Israel) behavior and stand with them. No state? No deal for us. I'm surprised, Pakistan showing real spine..... And our Modi couldn't even do that.. Abhijit Abhijit Iyer-Mitra is absolutely right, we keep seeing endless hype about Tejas’ air-show maneuvers, but almost no honest discussion on avionics, data-linking, or the reliability of its FBW systems. This obsession with optics over substance is exactly why our defence ecosystem struggles. The government needs to prioritise real capability, not PR clips and celebrations.
