“Chris Benoit was replaced by Johnny Nitro for the ECW World Championship match at Vengeance, as Benoit was not there due to personal issues, stemming from the death of his wife Nancy.” On June 25 at around 12:01 a.m. roughly 14 hours before police found the bodies an anonymous editor added this to Benoit’s Wikipedia page. The IP was traced back to a Matthew Greenberg who lived within blocks of the WWE headquarters in Stamford Connecticut. Below is the actual interrogation of the Greenberg.

25 years ago today at Bash at the Beach 2000… the infamous Hulk Hogan vs Jeff Jarrett WCW Title match turned into a full-blown SHOOT. Jarrett lays down, Hogan pins him with a boot on the chest and cuts a promo on Vince Russo: ‘Is this your idea, Russo? Caught Eric Bugenhagen (fka Rick Boogs) on today’s Insight with Chris Van Vliet still an absolute unit and full of energy! On his WrestleMania 38 quad tear that changed everything. “WrestleMania 38 did that go from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows… I was supposed to be like this documentary too like ‘oh yeah it’s being filmed all day’… and then I just like blow my tendon… My tendon was like ripped off the bone on both sides and ripped all the way through… My quad was too strong for the tendon and it was flexing so hard, it ripped the tendon totally off the bone.” That injury in the tag title match with Shinsuke Nakamura sidelined him big time, but dude bounced back stronger.
