In 2013, Huey Lewis and Weird Al created the greatest meta parody ever; a shot-for-shot remake of the axe scene from AMERICAN PSYCHO, which featured Lewis's "Hip To Be Square", with Lewis and Yankovic partially playing themselves talking about the movie. So good.

The biggest crash out on live tv has to be when Andrew "Dice" Clay was interviewed on CNN in 2003 by anchor Allan Chernoff. Chernoff suggested Dice's career had fallen off in recent years and the comedian did not take it lightly 🔥 Years later Dice commented on what happened and said, "The guy was looking to insult me, so I destroyed him."

Right before Adam Sandler and Chris Farley went live for the first THE HERLIHY BOY sketch on SNL in 1993, Sandler said Farley turned to him and said "I'm gonna get ya", and he knew it meant Farley was going to go as hard as he could to get him to break. Adam Sandler added, "I think that was the most I ever laughed on air. He wanted me to break every time because then he won. He knew he could whoop me." 😂

Tom Green ruled MTV and was a teen-favorite prankster in the late '90s, but the fandom fell apart after this interview with rocker Jesse James Dupree who spontaneously chainsawed Green's desk. Tom was visibly angry, tanked the interview, and within seconds became the type of uncool adult he would target with his own pranks. While filming the SEINFELD episode "The Abstinence", Jerry hadn't seen what Michael Richards's constant cigar smoking makeup looked like. Combined with Richards never going full force during rehearsals, and only seeing his real performance during the live taping, Jerry couldn't help but break character 😂

Hey CLUE fans, did you know there are actually *four* endings to the movie? Tim Curry revealed in a 1994 interview that the never-seen ending showed his character murdering *all* of the guests: "I was running around the house maniacally killing everyone, it was heaven." We must find this footage.

While filming SEINFELD's "The Marine Biologist" episode, the writers felt the ending didn't work, and last minute realized they could connect Kramer's storyline of hitting golf balls into the ocean and George's storyline of attempting to save a beached whale. At 2AM, they wrote Jason Alexander's speech that would close out the episode, and handed it to him the following morning, thirty minutes before the scene would have to be taped. Alexander said "No problem", quickly memorized the dialogue, and nailed the scene in one take 🔥 it's still absolutely insane he never won an Emmy for playing George Costanza

When Will Ferrell and Jeff Goldblum went live with SNL's "Space: The Infinite Frontier with Harry Caray" sketch, the first part was scripted and on cue cards for both actors, but halfway through, Ferrell started improv'ing insane questions and you can see Goldblum holding on for dear life answering them 😂 I forget how good this era of SNL really was
