Saumur 🇫🇷 museum's Tiger 1 continued restoration now moving under its own power. Restoration began in 2024. This Tiger 1 is the only surviving example to retain all of its original components. It saw combat in Normandy from July 7, 1944, fighting British forces around Vire, Falaise and Vimoutiers before being abandoned in August 1944. It was later briefly reused by the French Army against the German pockets around Saint-Nazaire in 1945.
