Close-up footage of the helicopter incident in Tatra Kopřivnice, Czech Republic, in June 2026. What do you think happened to the cyclic at 00:10? It appears the pilot either briefly let go of the cyclic or it slipped from his hand. The helicopter immediately pitched nose-up, but the pilot quickly pushed the cyclic fully forward to regain control. 📹: tatra-danielkaras

On 17 July 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, a Boeing 777-200ER (9M-MRD), was flying at 33,000 ft over eastern Ukraine when it was destroyed by a 9N314M warhead carried by a 9M38-series Buk surface-to-air missile. The explosion occurred just outside and above the left side of the cockpit, causing catastrophic structural failure and an in-flight breakup. All 298 passengers and crew lost their lives. The Dutch Safety Board concluded that no other scenario could explain the aircraft's destruction. The investigation also found that the risks posed by the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine were not adequately recognised, and the airspace should have been closed as a precaution. 📹: cgtnamerica

No, this is not AI. It's real. Emirates Flight EK707 encountered strong southeast monsoon crosswinds while attempting to land in Seychelles from DXB. Notice the pronounced pitch-down movements at around 50 ft, followed by several attempts to get the Boeing 777-300ER on the ground. By that point, however, the touchdown zone had already been passed. Given the short runway (9,800ft/2,987m), a go-around was absolutely the right decision. A6-EGY later diverted to Antananarivo on July 13, 2026. 📹: SEZ_Spotter

United Airlines Boeing 777-300ER (N2138U) flight UA858 from Shanghai (PVG) to San Francisco was diverted to Tokyo Narita following an argument between a flight attendant and a passenger. The passenger, a middle-aged Chinese woman, became involved in a dispute with the flight attendant, prompting the diversion to Narita. After landing, Japanese police boarded the aircraft and escorted her off the plane. 📹: kukugege

This is how the C-17 Globemaster III can descend from 30,000 feet to 5,000 feet in less than two minutes. This tactical descent profile allows the aircraft to remain at higher altitudes for as long as possible before making a rapid, steep descent into its destination. By doing so, the C-17 minimizes the time it spends within enemy air defense and missile engagement ranges, enhancing survivability in hostile environments. 📹: Raj 360

Imagine landing and seeing the burned-up wreckage of another plane on the runway next to you. That's exactly what passengers aboard American Airlines Flight 431 experienced while landing at San Francisco International Airport on July 8, 2013, just two days after the crash of Asiana Airlines Flight 214, Boeing 777-200ER (HL7742). From their windows, they could clearly see the destroyed Boeing 777 on Runway 28L, its landing gear separated, investigators examining the wreckage, and emergency crews working around the scene—a haunting reminder of the tragedy that had unfolded only 48 hours earlier. On July 6, 2013, the Asiana 777 crashed while attempting to land after descending too low and too slow. The aircraft's tail struck the seawall and was destroyed by impact forces and a post-crash fire. The National Transportation Safety Board later concluded that the probable cause was the flight crew's mismanagement of the visual approach, including inadequate airspeed monitoring, delayed execution of a go-around, and over-reliance on automation. The investigation also cited shortcomings in training, supervision, fatigue, and Boeing's documentation regarding autothrottle behavior. The accident claimed three lives and injured nearly 200 people, marking the first fatal accident involving a Boeing 777. 📹: Wolfgang51501986
