Between life or loss, clean or polluted, plentiful or depleted, the choice couldn’t be clearer. It’s time to #BeatPollution in all its forms.

Spending time in nature can do wonders for mental well-being. From a walk in the park to gardening or simply enjoying some fresh air, reconnecting with nature can help reduce stress and improve mood. This #WorldMentalHealthDay, if you have the chance, take some time to enjoy nature. 💚

Humanity is breaking all the wrong climate change records. It's going to take a massive shift and transformative action at #COP28 to avoid coming back to issue the same unheeded warnings, like a broken record, year after year. Latest #EmissionsGap Report:

Happy #WorldEnvironmentDay! Join us in celebrating our planet and recognizing the power we all have to protect it. Every voice matters. Every action counts. Join the movement. Together, let’s #BeatPlasticPollution.

Despite covering only 1% of the Earth, cities consume 78% of the world’s energy. By embracing integrated planning and design, cities could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by around 25% by 2050. On Tuesday’s #WorldCitiesDay, let’s encourage cities to step up #ClimateAction.

A digital bird has lost its home. Let’s save the homes of the real ones. #SaveForestsNow via UN-REDD Programme:

Nearly half of all plastic waste produced worldwide comes from packaging, with much of it discarded after one use. In 2023, #FaceThePlasticTruth & pledge to think twice before making any purchase: #CleanSeas #BeatPlasticPollution

The ocean… 🌊💙 sustains life, regulates climate, hosts biodiversity, buffers storms, produces oxygen, holds untold wonder. Yet, we’ve polluted its depths and pushed it to the brink. On #WorldOceanDay and every day, let’s act to #SaveOurOcean.

Cities can play a key role in protecting global ecosystems. By adopting nature-based solutions, we can boost climate resilience and restore biodiversity. With #WorldCitiesDay approaching, let's step up our efforts for #GenerationRestoration!

🐝 This #WorldBeeDay, here are 5 ways to help save the bees! From planting bee-friendly gardens to reducing pesticide use, every small step contributes to big changes.

Pollution is harmful. Pollution is deadly. Every year, some 9 million people die from pollution, making it one of the biggest environmental health risks to humans. Discover solutions to #BeatPollution on our interactive page.

Climate change, noise, and air and chemical pollution impact our mental well-being. However, a healthy environment can uplift us. This #WorldMentalHealthDay, explore these four environmental issues and how nature and #ClimateAction offer solutions.

Pulsing with life that sustains us all, forests hold the Earth's memories and our future in their roots. This #ForestsDay and every day, let's all pledge to protect these vital, irreplaceable ecosystems.

Soil is where our food begins. Improving soil fertility is critical for biodiversity as it provides essential nutrients to sustain plant growth. #GenerationRestoration

Wetlands deliver essential services for humanity, yet more than 35% of them have been lost or degraded. Ahead of #WorldWetlandsDay, the trend of loss and degradation must be reversed. More details on #GenerationRestoration actions here:

Turn off the lights and tune into nature. This #EarthHour at 8:30pm local time on Saturday, switch off and give an hour back to the planet, inspired by nature's own light show. 🌌 More info: Earth Hour Official

In an increasingly urbanized world, cities can be drivers of economic growth, but they also account for over 70% of global emissions & are vulnerable to #ClimateCrisis impacts. The #GlobalGoals aim to make cities inclusive, safe, resilient & sustainable:

By 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in the ocean. All of us can take action to #BeatPlasticPollution:

Cities are major hotspots for air pollution, which severely impacts human and planetary health. With 99% of the global population breathing polluted air and millions of lives lost yearly, let's pledge to #BeatAirPollution this #WorldCitiesDay & everyday.
